Overview
Baymax ("the App") is a privately operated AI assistant available through Google Chat. This policy describes how we handle your data.
Data We Collect
When you interact with Baymax, we process:
- Messages — the text you send to Baymax in Google Chat, used solely to generate responses.
- Google Account Info — your name and email address, used to route messages and manage your session.
- Connected Services — if you authorise Google services (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Contacts), Baymax accesses them on your behalf using OAuth tokens stored securely on our server.
How We Use Your Data
- To respond to your messages and perform requested tasks.
- To maintain conversation context within your session.
- To access authorised Google services on your behalf.
Data Storage & Retention
- Conversation data is stored on a private server in Australia.
- Messages are sent to AI model providers (Anthropic Claude) for processing. These providers do not use your data for training.
- OAuth tokens are stored encrypted on our server and can be revoked at any time.
- You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting the administrator.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, share, or disclose your personal data to third parties, except:
- AI model providers (Anthropic) to process your messages — subject to their privacy policy.
- Google APIs, when you have explicitly authorised access.
Your Rights
You can:
- Revoke Google access at any time via Google Account Permissions.
- Request deletion of your stored data.
- Stop using the service at any time — simply remove the app from your Google Chat.
